The Causeway CARes 5K Returns October 12th
We’re excited to announce the return of the Causeway CARes 5K, happening Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin.

Now in its 8th year, this beloved community event brings together families, runners, walkers, and local supporters all with one shared goal: to give back. Whether you’re racing toward a personal best or enjoying the morning with friends, your participation directly supports the Causeway CARes mission and the many nonprofits we partner with throughout Ocean County.

Location: Southern Regional High School, 90 Cedar Bridge Road, Manahawkin, NJ
Registration Begins: 7:30 AM
5K Walk: 8:45 AM
5K Run (Chip-Timed): 9:00 AM

A Legacy of Giving
Over the past seven Causeway 5Ks, the event has raised an incredible $305,000 for local charities and outreach efforts. Last year alone, 200 attendees and over 70 sponsors helped raise $45,100 and with a match from David Wintrode, President of Causeway Family of Dealerships, we reached $90,200. The $90,200 raised from last year’s Causeway CARes 5K supported Fulfill, fighting hunger in our community, and Project Home Repair, providing critical home repairs for local residents in need. Your support made a real difference across Ocean County.
