Operation Warm – Coats for Kids in Monmouth and Ocean Counties

It is once again that time of year to bring out the heavy jackets. Temperatures are dropping, winter is approaching. Most people don’t think twice about having a winter jacket or two on hand, but for some children that is not the case. Thankfully, Operation Warm is here to help! Over the last 22 years, Operation Warm has provided warmth, confidence, and hope to over 4,000,000 children with the help of more than 1,300 community partners across North America.

Last year, The Causeway Family of Dealerships and six other southern New Jersey philanthropic organizations joined forces with Operation Warm, Better Education for Kids, Inc. and Fulfill to distribute 3,200 new winter coats to children in Monmouth and Ocean Counties through “Operation Warm Up Jersey Shore”.

This year, 2,000 Brand New winter coats will be distributed through Fulfill and the United Way of Ocean and Monmouth County’s Warmest Wishes program. Generous support was provided by four local foundations; Grunin Foundation, OceanFirst Foundation, Citta Foundation and the Wintrode Family Foundation (Causeway Family of Dealership) and was matched by the David and Nicole Tepper Foundation.

Below are Fulfill’s scheduled dates and locations for distribution of 1,000 coats. Coats are pre-packaged in sizes 4T – 14/16, L & XL and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, while supplies last. Children must be present in the vehicle to receive a coat.

If you or someone you know has children in need of a warm winter coat please share this information!
