MANAHAWKIN, NJ – Spring is a time for renewal and refreshment. Birds are chirping and flowers are blooming. The community is buzzing with activity, including our nonprofit partners. From Bingo to Golf to Gift Auctions, there is something for everyone this spring in Ocean County.

On Friday, April 21st, Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, in collaboration with Donovan Catholic High School, will host a night of fellowship, food and fun with a BINGO night. The event will take place at 6:00pm at the Brick PAL, 60 Drum Point Rd in Brick. Tickets cost $25 and include 2 bingo cards, light refreshments and 5 raffle tickets. Join A Need We Feed for a night of gamming, buffet dinner, entertainment and gift auction fiun at their 4th Annual Casino Night on Saturday, April 22 at 6:00pm at the Toms River Elks Lodge, 600 Washington Street, Toms River. Tickets cost $75 per person and include $100 in gambling chips, 5 gift auction tickets and an open bar from 6:00-8:00pm.

All are invited to attend Ocean Partnership for Children’s Spring Friendraising Event. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 25th from 5:30-7pm at Garden State Distillery in Toms River. Enjoy relaxed conversation, cocktails and networking to learn more about OPC’s mission. Registration is required. CONTACT of Ocean & Monmouth Counties will present their 36th Annual Spring Luncheon and Mega Gift Auction on Saturday, April 29th from 11:00am-3:00pm at Spring Lake Manor, 415 Highway 71, Spring Lake. The event will feature a huge selection of quality gift baskets, gift certificates and door prizes in a new expanded gift auction room. On April 30th, the Jersey Shore BlueClaws will welcome Family Promise of the Jersey Shore to ShoreTown Ballpark. This celebration of community and friendraising event is perfect for the whole family. Watch the BlueClaws take on the Brookleyn Cyclones while supporting an important cause. A portion of each ticket purchased will benefit Family Promise of the Jersey Shore. Join Fulfill as they honor Hunger Heroes and the Jersey Shore music scene for their generous spirit and support in the fight against hunger at SHORE TO ROCK. Step Up for the Arc on Saturday, May 13th, from 10:00am-1:00pm at the Jersey Shore BlueClaws Shoretown Ballpark for The Arc, Ocean County Chapter’s 21st Annual Walk and Family Fun Run Day! The day will include a 1-mile walk and community celebration featuring music, games, entertainment and refreshments. Let the good times roll! Join Coastal Volunteers in Medicine for their 2nd Annual Bunco Luncheon on Wednesday, May 17th from 11:30am-3:30pm at Dolce Liberta Italian Restaurant, 100 McKinley Ave, Manahawkin. Enjoy a delicious lunch followed by a fun game (or two) of Bunco facilitated by their community partner, the Zonta Club of Southern Ocean County.
